This isn't a great picture. You can't even see the topper. I have a black and white Christmas tree. I'm strange I know. As a person who said "I will never have a fake tree" you can imagine my family's surprise to come in and see my great white fake tree all decked out with black and white ornaments. I'm not done with it yet. Black and white ornaments aren't easy to find. Glitter on the other hand....
The clear glass ball ornaments are perfect for those of us with off-beat colors. It's a great kid craft! Check out
Aurora's blog for ones she made. I like Martha's Glitter Glue and her fine glitters. Simply cover the ball, or use tape to mark off a pattern, with the glitter glue and sprinkle glitter over it. Hang to dry and believe it or not it works. It's so pretty too.

I also had fun blog-surfing and found this gem. It's paper snowflakes!! Her's look great in 2 tone but I wanted to try plain ol' white. I'm so colorful all year that when it comes time for Christmas I'm a white lights kinda girl. Weird huh?
The only thing I'd change is using the red tape like Therm-o-web to do this. It's easier than using the liquid glue in my opinion. I pretty much winged it, as I am not into measuring and it did pretty good. There's no staples in mine either, all 2 sided tape.
You're wanting the blog link right about now. ;)
It's
